In 2013 a number of Symington residents got together to improve the run down tennis courts. Now there is a flood lit tennis court and separate MUGA (multi use games area) court suitable for football, basket ball, and netball. This is run by a locally registered charity – SPARK – who successfully secured funding from the Big Lottery.
